Carrie Hurtik founded Hurtik Law & Associates in 2010 after spending more than 10 years assisting people with civil litigation matters as an attorney. A Michigan native, Ms. Hurtik obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University. She would then go on to obtain a master's degree in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University, and her JD from Gonzaga University School of Law.
Before obtaining her law degree, Ms. Hurtik spent several years working as a realtor and appraiser in Illinois. She frequently saw the legal complexities people face when making these transactions during this time and decided to use her knowledge and experience to help people as an attorney. Ms. Hurtik now provides legal services for clients dealing with real estate issues, bankruptcy, construction law, family law, and estate planning.
Ms. Hurtik is a dedicated advocate for her clients and works closely with them for the entirety of their case. She is known for being honest and forthright, telling clients what they need to hear so they can make informed decisions as they plan for the future.
Ms. Hurtik is admitted to practice in all Nevada State Courts, Federal Court for the District of Nevada, and the Ninth Circuit Appellate Court. She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, Clark County Bar Association, and Nevada Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Hurtik practices in the areas of general liability, civil litigation, construction defect litigation, real estate law, contract law, business litigation, asset protection, and bankruptcy.
